Ca' dei Zago, Valdobbiadene Metodo Classico 2019

Flag of Italy

Ca'dei Zago are a family-run winery and farm, founded in 1924 by Zago Marino Sebastiano and still based in the heart of Valdobbiadene, Veneto to this day. Now into their fourth generation of family ownership, current custodians (and great-grandchildren of Zago), Christian & Marika head up the winery, continue to push the boundaries of what Prosecco can be and have taken Ca'dei Zago to full biodynamic status. Valdobbiadene Metodo Classico 2019 is made from 100% Glera and is a stunning example of traditional (or "Champagne") method Prosecco. With zero dosage it is bone-dry and bright with notes of green apple, lemon zest, citrus and brioche. The palate is delicate but packed with fruity notes and good level of acidity to balance. An awesome, top-end Prosecco which makes for a complex wine with great personality.
